We did a basic warm up for all of the major joints
Mambo Basic with Arms-epaulment on counts 2,3
Arms up on 4
1/2 turn prep on 2,3
Step Back on 4 with Left foot
Work on turn to the Right-Can be 3 step, Spiral, chaine, forward walk turning/ 1/2 turn technique
There are several ways to execute this turn, Use a press line/walk to get into it
Homework: Practice spotting for next week-make movement continuous..keep spine straight!

We reviewed 4 coplas of Sevillanas as warm up with a traditional type music & faster tempo.
Brief warm up of braceo
Footwork: Exercise 1 going into Exercise 2 Going into the Jathis both Right and Left side.
We did at 2 speeds.
Reviewed Alegrias in completion-to practice with compas tracks

We started with a warm up in the wrists only and then added fingers. We were developing our floreo-Back to Basics!
Guajiras Basic Footwork
Flat-R
Ball Heel-L

3 Flats alternating R,L,R
Repeat all on Left side
Intermediate Version: Replace 3 single Flats with 1 Flat & Planta tacons X 4 -last tacon pause before executing. Repeat on Opposite side. We applied 4 arm positions while maintaining the timing.
Next session: Review Copla 1 with arms-flamenco II ladies will learn alternative styling

Ladies Dance Team:
We did a warm up across the floor with balloons keeping timing, poise, and character.
We talked about elange arms, hand, and fingers-briefly
We reviewed our pattern in the first formation:
1 Left turn (with cross)
1/2 Left turn, hold counts 4,5,6
Balance or waltz side rocks X 2
Chaine to the Right into a lunge line.
We did this pattern with a stretch in the topline and using the head and eyes to guide our movement.
We started to work with veils learning about cascading
