Saturday Flamenco I Synopsis

After our warm up. We covered how to “walk” in basic paseos (4 counts).

We marked counts 1,3,5,7 with the balls of the feet & incorporated a “botofogo” type action on 7,8 & (minus the hips)

We drilled sevillana paso only to compas, pasadas to compas, and grapevine.  We danced through the 1st coplas to slow music and then moderate tempo.

Next class we will review Copla one, learn 3 new positions of the arms (braceo), and cover careos.

See you all next Saturday!
