We started with wrist work in 2 directions: 2 rotations each direction
Arms in 1st, 2nd, 5th with wrists
Footwork Exercise 1,
Exercise 4
(ball heel-foot 1, double-foot 2 consecutive. On count 8-Flat Foot 1, ronde/kick out foot 2 and hook behind foot 1, ball of foot 1 closes to foot 2, repeat all with foot 2

Bronze Paso
Character of the dance, posture alignment, walks forward, head position changes
First Position arms and opposition of arms and lower body with walks forward
The Apel (Llamada), Spanish press and release (dissolve)
Warm up individual movement: Start Left side facing audience:
Bring the space in and press out (Rock step with Left foot towards Right corner)
Counts 1 & 2, Collect 3, hold 4
Rock step to Left corner with Right foot on counts 1 & 2, Collect 3, hold 4
Next week: Spanish turn (”wheel”)
Silver Rumba:
Included partnering with therabands finding those lats and making them work.
New Yorkers for lead in R to R hand hold for men and L to L
Homework, Spot turn with firt position arms and second position arms
Next week start with Rumba walks forward, back, cucarachas, Spot turn for men and women with inside turn for lady.

(For current students from all classes/lessons, Social, competitive Latin & Ballroom, Flamenco & Athletic Dance class: We will eat, watch videos, and play Madlibs. A great time to socialize with each other and discuss items as a school)
*Flamenco/Spanish Dance Theory Clas s (For All students interested. Necessary for all Flamenco students: Bring notebook, pencil/pen. We will discuss theory background, terms, and concepts necessary for the upcoming curriculum. This class is for students of all levels!
